Please remember to contact your instructor before booking a date and time for your practical driving test to ensure that your Instructor and the vehicle are available. DPA recieve no part of any fees paid to the DSA for your test booking.

 

The booking system is available between 6am and midnight.

 

What you will need to book your Theory Test on line:

  • You can take your theory test when you are in possession of your provisional driving licence and when you are at least 17 years of age.

    You may have received your provisional driving licence at 16 years of age, but you are only permitted to book the theory test from your 17th birthday onwards.

  • Your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number
  • Your credit or debit card details

Theory Test Fee £23.00

 

 

The test fee is paid directly to the DVSA no part of this fee is passed to DPA.

 

 

What you will need to book your Practical Test on line:

  • Your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number
  • Your DPA Instructors ADI number
  • Your credit or debit card details
  • You must have already passed the theory and hazard perception part 1 test. This is now electronicly recorded by the DSA and will be checked at the time of booking your Part 2 practical test. You will need to wait at least 48 hours after passing your theory test before booking your practical test. (this is to allow time for the DSA system to update)
  • PLEASE NOTE you must take your practical test within 2 years of passing your theory test, if you fail to do this you will need to retake your part 1 theory test.

Practical Test Fee Weekday £62.00

Practical Test Fee Weekend £75.00

 

If you need to take an extended test due to disqualification the fees are

Weekday £124.00

Weekend £150.00

 

The Test fee is paid directly to the DVSA no part of this fee is passed to DPA.



Should you need to rearrange or cancel your test you must give at least 3 clear working days notice DVSA are extremley strict on this, ie if your test is on Friday the last day you could re-arrange would be Monday.

 



Vehicles are fitted with Internal/external CCTV and audio recording equipment.
